Juanita Babcock is a well-traveled woman who goes to many "exotic" places in the world. She is a frequent (and popular) presenter for "Vicarious Voyagers. Her most recent presentation is listed below:

Vicarious Voyagers XXI: “Countries of the Caucasus: Ancient Times to Post-Soviet Era” – Highlights: contrasts between three countries in language, alphabet, religion, history; the Armenian Genocide Museum; cave towns; many monasteries and churches in Georgia and Armenia; experiencing the friendliness of the Azerbaijan people.

Vicarious Voyagers XVIII: Hiking in Southern England (Spring 2016). Spectacular coastal cliffs in Cornwall; the wool trade in the Cotswolds; royal history in southernmost England; “Doc Martin” and “Poldark” territory. Vegetarian Cooking:
also has offered a number of vegetarian cooking classes for SOAR. Sje has been a vegetarian for over 30 years. She has a huge organic garden and a berry patch. Juanita is skilled in baking with whole grains and in cooking versatile vegetarian dishes. She enjoys baking and cooking recipes from domestic and international cuisines. Juanita also has offered a number of vegetarian cooking classes for SOAR.

Juanita was the manager of the Potsdam Farmers’ Market for three years. During that time she helped develop a strong network of local farmers. Her mentor, Paula Youmell - local author, nutritionist and healthy foods healer, has been instrumental in educating Juanita about natural health and healthy recipes.
