Vegetarian meals can be a healthful and flavorful option for any age. This course concentrates on using whole grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts, soy and dairy products in cooking and baking to provide protein-rich meal combinations. At each session, enjoy learning about – and eating – the day’s (non-vegan) vegetarian lunch which the presenter prepares for you ahead of time. Lunch includes beverage and dessert.

Juanita Babcock has been a vegetarian for over 25 years. She enjoys baking and cooking recipes from domestic and international cuisines. Juanita is skilled in baking with whole grains and in cooking versatile vegetarian dishes.

NOTES: 1) Vegetarian meals include eggs, dairy, soy, and nuts; 2) Course fee: $35 (includes food, supplies and kitchen use). Payment is due before class starts; payment instructions will be sent with your confirmation of enrollment.
