Michael Rygel is an assistant professor in the Geology Department at SUNY Potsdam. He teaches introductory geology courses, as well as the upper level courses: Earth History, Sedimentary Geology, Field Geology, and Geographic Information Systems. His research focuses on coal-bearing rocks in the eastern North America.
