Alex Schreiber is an endocrinologist (someone who works with hormones and other chemical messengers). He has been studying the biology of metamorphosis in both fish and frogs for over 20 years. He was a researcher at Johns Hopkins University for 10 years, and is now an Associate Professor of Biology at SLU.
