Dana Barry

Dana Barry is a Research Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Clarkson University. She has graduate degrees in chemistry and science education, and a PhD in Engineering from Osaka University. She has carried out numberous hands-on workshops in the US and overseas for over a thousand participants. 

Dana has served as a visiting professor throughout Japan. She has co-authored textbooks used by Japanese students and has had the opportunity to teach classes in Japan at the elementary, secondary, and college levels.

Dana is a science educator, an author, and the senior technical writer and editor at Clarkson's Center for Advanced Materials Processing (CAMP). She was a Visiting Professor in various countries and currently has the title of Visiting Proffessor for Suzuka National College of Technology in Japan.

Dana's work is published in various journals. She is the author of over 200 professional publications, including books and has had her own television series (which aired in Northern new York) titled "Sensational Science."

In 2019 she was an invited Keynote Speaker in Budapest where she talked about Robots and Artificial Intelligence.
