For almost 10 years, Kenneth Wallace has held the position of Associate Professor of Developmental Biology at Clarkson University. In his research, he uses zebrafish as a vertebrate model organism to further understand how the digestive system develops. His postdoctoral work in the Gastroenterology Department at the University of Pennsylvania also dealt with the development of the digestive system. His graduate work at Ohio State University was in early development of the nervous system using the fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster) as a model system.
