Diane Crump and Van Hoyt have been teaching youth and adults beginning ballroom dance for over 15 years. They encourage both men and women to "take the plunge" and learn how to lead or follow... As they say "just have fun" dancing. They enjoy teaching others how to dance.
Diane received her BA degree in Elementary Education at SUNY Potsdam. She taught Head Start in Florida for eight years. The last year there she won the employee of the year award with a resultant trip to Seattle. After that, she returned to the North Country where she worked as a job coach for BOCES for four years. Now retired, her interests include bowling, dancing, quilting, reading, and writing. She is the author of a poetry book called Memories of a North Country Grandma.
