This course concentrates on beginning Foxtrot, Stroll, Cha-Cha, Tango, and “Lamanite” (a simple, fun dance devised by Van). We will advance in our skills as time permits and as class interest suggests.
Van Hoyt and Diane Crump have been teaching youth and adults beginning ballroom dance for about 10 years. They encourage both men and women to “take the plunge” and come to this course which has as its first aim “just to have fun.”
NOTE: Please wear comfortable clothing and smooth-soled shoes (not sneakers).
