Geometric symmetries have long appealed to people across the world for their exquisite beauty. In this course, we will investigate the mathematics used to describe the symmetries of various geometric objects.
Laura Person has taught mathematics at SUNY Potsdam since 1989. Her field is Topology, which is an area of pure mathematics focused on the study of abstract shapes.
