Glenn Johnson is an Emeritus Professor in the Biology Department at SUNY Potsdam, where he taught conservation biology, ecology, dendrology and vertebrate biology courses mostly. His main interest is Conservation Biology, especially endangered vertebrates and most particularly amphibians and reptiles; he co-authored a field guide to amphibians and reptiles of New York. He has taught a Dendrology (tree) course numerous times, including several times for SOAR, and Biology of Woody Plants at SUNY Potsdam in alternate years.
