Dr. Rogers grew up in Potsdam. She completed her PhD at Columbia University in 2011, examining deforestation in protected areas in Central Africa using satellite images. She has been teaching at SUNY Potsdam since 2016 and is now an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Studies. She studies landscape level change, focusing on threats like invasive plants and issues related to climate change.
