Dr. Almeida is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Clarkson University. Her research is in the fabrication of biomaterials to modulate stem cell behavior. Prior to joining Clarkson, Dr. Almeida was a postdoctoral researcher at the US Naval Research Institute, and she received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University.
