Ginger Storey-Welch is a lifelong lover of nature, which has led to a passion for protecting it. She is a retired elementary teacher. She started an elementary Green Team and high school Environmental Clubs. Ginger heads NC 350 Alliance, a local affiliate of 350.org, and is also working on a Master Naturalist Certificate from Cornell Cooperative Ext. She was the 2018 recipient of the Rachel Somers Social Action Award.
