Joe Longshore is a physical therapist assistant and lifelong amateur naturalist. For twenty years, he has taught wilderness survival, nature awareness and bird language locally and in classes as far away as California. He was first introduced to bird language over 25 years ago while studying with world renowned naturalist Tom Brown Jr.

Joe is particularly indebted to the wisdom and work of naturalist Jon Young whose lessons deeply inform the programs Joe presents.
