Parisa Mirbod is an expert in theoretical modeling, numerical analysis, and experimental fluid mechanics and flow-through porous media. She has a wealth of publications and a patent in the bio-fluid dynamics field. She also serves as organizer, peer reviewer, and committee member in different, but related, conferences such as APS, ASME, BMES, and AIAA.
