Roy Schaberg

Roy Schaberg taught the horn for 31 years at the Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam. He is a former principal horn of the Lexington Philharmonic, the Memphis Symphony, the Vermont Symphony, and the Orchestra of Northern NY (ONNY). He is a founding member of the Potsdam Brass and Woodwind Quintets and the founding director of Crane Youth Music. Roy was twice artist-host of the International Horn Symposium, in 1981 and again in 1987. This presentation is a result of a sabbatical to study horn at the Smithsonian Institute with curator Robert Sheldon.
