Cindy Quackenbush is a retired second grade teacher with a strong interest in conservation. Currently Cindy has been spearheading a campaign to save the monarchs through local preservation projects. Her ongoing retirement project is to educate the people of our area about the Monarch Butterfly and why we need to protect and preserve this endangered species through creation of habitats. Cynthia has given many presentations on this subject – to community groups, schools, and also to SOAR members.
