Author/photographer Holly Chorba spent 30 years with her husband Ron as local educators; she retired as Potsdam High School Principal.

Holly explored and reveled in North Country beauty and that of the Sonoran Desert. Following Ron's passing in 2018, Holly wrote and photographed "It's Okay...Scream in the Shower" in order to pay forward what she learned regarding surviving and thriving after such loss. Her photography is the winner of several Laurentian Chapter, Adirondack Mountain Club awards, used for two Fine Art Up North Calendar covers, and is currently displayed at Creative Spirit in Potsdam, NY.

She has been a member of the GVR Photography Club for over 20 years. During that time she has held several offices and attended and taught many sessions to pursue her life-long goals of learning and teaching. She has co-taught iPhone Photography and I-Movie several times there in Arizona, as well as taught multiple sessions and venues of "Story-Telling for Photographers".
