Elun Gabriel is a historian of modern Europe, with a research focus on modern Germany. He teaches courses at St. Lawrence University including Introduction to European Studies, 19th-century Europe, 20th-century Europe, World War I, the Holocaust, Genocide in the Modern World, Modern European Women's History, and courses on J.R.R. Tolkien, Utopia & Dystopia, and Piracy.
