Glenn Johnson is a Professor in the Biology Department at SUNY Potsdam, where he teaches conservation, ecology and vertebrate biology courses mostly. His main interest is Conservation Biology, especially endangered vertebrates and most particularly amphibians and reptiles. He coauthored a field guide to amphibians and reptiles of New York and has authored numerous scientific papers and technical reports on threatened vertebrates in New York and Pennsylvania.
