AARP honoring SOAR

THE NEWS ITEM:

SOAR will be honored by the St. Lawrence County Chapter 2831 of AARP, Inc. at their monthly meeting, held at the Lobster House on August 20 from 11:30 to 1:30 pm.  Jim Barry and Mark Coleman will attend the meeting to receive a plaque in recognition of SOAR’s contribution to the community. They will each speak briefly on SOAR’s mission, curriculum and procedures. The lunch is open to all, attendees paying for their own lunch.
