The course gives a brief overview of global urban farming systems and offers a hands-on workshop in the WISER Greenhouses, where we construct and plant Tower Gardens.
Raymond Bowdish is a local horticulturalist and WISER Center Coordinator, in the Biology Department at SUNY Potsdam. Ray's master's degree work on the Entomopathology began his lifelong practice of Integrated Pest Management and use of Biological Control Agents (BCAs) in the WISER Center Greenhouses and at Never Tire Farm LLC, a commercial greenhouse he operates with his wife, Megan.
