The history of ocean exploration has much influenced human history. From ancient navigators to modern-day submersibles and satellites, the many discoveries have helped us answer critical questions about the Earth’s evolution.

Dr. Antun Husinec is Professor of Geology at St. Lawrence University and an avid diver. His research focuses on the sedimentary record of sea-level, oceanic, and climatic changes.
