Coin collecting is a rewarding hobby for those who appreciate history, organizing exceptional pieces, comparing standards, and at times, discovering that personal items may hold a surprisingly high value. If you have a jar containing old coins that have not been examined for many years, this Introduction to Coin Collecting may be the ideal opportunity for taking your first step as a numismatist! This class is for true beginners as well as those who may wish to better evaluate and organize coins they have owned for many years.

Jack Lawrence is long-time coin collector who has offered school programs for area students and individuals.
