This course will center on the exploration and exploitation of the Adiron- dacks. We will also look at the impact of romanticism about nature.

Art Johnson taught Adirondack history at SUNY Potsdam. He also offered a “Wilderness Workshop” program. He has taught over 14 courses for SOAR. In Fall, 2013, Art received the “Leon LeBeau SOARing Educator Award” in recognition of the many outstanding courses he has taught for SOAR.
