Resources and techniques will be provided to help you research your genealogy back to the 13 original US colonies. (Please note that researching your roots in foreign countries will not be covered in this course.)

Jennifer Baird Bixby has been a town historian for 6 years. She has had 30 years of experience doing genealogical research. She is a member of both DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and the Society of the Flagon and Trencher (for descendants of colonial tavern keepers).

NOTES: 1) Bring to class: applicable family documents, pencil/pen, paper, and any “brick wall” questions you may have; 2) A .pdf list of useful web sites has been posted at the top of this page.
