Carbon Dioxide, or CO2, is more than a greenhouse gas. In its solid form, it is known as dry ice. It exists only below -109° F. The presenters will demonstrate many fun and practical uses involving dry ice.

Jim Barry is a retired chemistry teacher. He is a frequent SOAR presenter, board member, and co-chair of the Curriculum Committee. Jim was named a “Super SOARer” in spring 2006.

Suna Stone-McMasters is a chemical hygiene and environmental compliance officer at SLU. She enjoys running, painting, and hiking.
