The presenter will discuss the production of the Arcadia publication: Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center. The presentation will include a slide show of some of the historic images found in the book.
Cindy Clusen has served as Executive Director of the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Foundation since 2008. Before that she worked in the development office at SLU for 5 years. Cindy studied history at the undergraduate and graduate levels before entering the field of development and fundraising. She has an enduring interest in the history of the Adirondacks and the North Country. Super SOARer Fran is a retired nurse and a frequent presenter for SOAR.
Fran Van Horne will add commentary about her first-hand experiences as an alumna of the School of Nursing; she will display some ‘40’s era memorabilia of the school to show.
