Day 1: Stained Glass Windows – a brief description of some of the many stained glass artists and studios whose work is found throughout the North Country. Day 2: Horwood Stained Glass, A Forgotten Legacy Restored – a brief history of the amazing Horwood family whose name was all but forgotten, but whose windows are still found in many North Country churches and other buildings. Day 3: Tour the windows at Potsdam First Presbyterian Church and Potsdam United Methodist Church. NOTE: Day 3 class is scheduled for two hours to allow time for walking between churches. (Church tours will be announced later)

After his retirement from a career as a registered nurse, David Martin indulged his love of history by writing three local history books for Arcadia Publishing. This quickly led him into an abiding interest in stained glass windows.

NOTE: The third session TBA; involves walking as we visit the two churches.
