NOTE: (Despite what it says above) class meets for three hours 10:00-1:00pm.

Participants will prepare several typical Spanish dishes and will learn how they relate to the country’s history and culture. Dishes to be prepared include paella, gazpacho, the authentic Spanish tortilla (omelet) and others. Recipes will be adjusted to include ingredients that are readily available in the North Country.

Rita Goldberg, a retired professor of Spanish (SLU), has spent a great deal of time in Spain and knows the country well. She enjoys the food and she enjoys sharing her favorites with American friends.

NOTE: There is a fee of $35 to cover food and other expenses, payable on the first day of class.
