Is there an element of historical truth in Greek mythology? Did the Trojan War really happen? Was there a bull-headed Minotaur in the labyrinth on the island of Crete? Join us as we explore several Greek myths and their possible origins, including taking a look at new scientific research on the past of ancient Greece.

Caroline Downing earned her Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology from Indiana University Bloomington.  She has taught ancient Art History and Archaeology at SUNY Potsdam for over 30 years.
