Mah Jongg or the game of Sparrows, is an ancient Chinese game played with tiles. It is similar to gin rummy. In this group we will play by the National Mah Jongg League rules. We welcome all skill levels from beginners to experts.
Kay Russell has been playing Mah Jongg since she moved to the North Country in 1969. She has been teaching for SOAR since 2003. At the Spring 2017 luncheon she received the semester's Super SOARer Award. She is a retired Department of Social Services supervisor.
