The presentation will discuss the book Devil in the White City and highlight the Chicago World’s Fair and H.H. Holmes, a serial killer operating during the fair.
Liz Brown is an Associate Professor in the Criminal Justice Department where she teaches courses related to forensic science, including a class titled “Serial Killers and their Victims.” Prior to teaching at SUNY Canton, Liz worked at the Onondaga Center for Forensic Sciences as a Latent Print Examiner.
Patrick LaPierre is an Associate Professor of History, and a Curriculum Coordinator for the Liberal Arts Program at SUNY Canton. Patrick regularly teaches courses in American intellectual history, the history of the Vietnam War, and other introductory surveys.
