This course will go over techniques used in computational photography to edit photographs in three dimensions. It will include a discussion of techniques in geometry extraction, illumination estimation, and texture synthesis, and their use to manipulate photographs.
Natasha Banerjee’s research lies at the intersection of computer vision and computer graphics, and specifically looks at understanding images in three dimensions.
