In this course, you will learn about a few real life examples of the applications of the Pythagorean Theorem and become acquainted with other interesting and useful mathematical contributions. We also will generate some Pythagorean infinite sequences of triples. Math is an interesting topic to study; it helps to keep one’s mind/brain active.
Chanchal Singh is a retired professor of mathematics from SLU. Currently he is pursuing a number of hobbies: gardening, growing fruit trees, working with stained glass, doing some creative writing, and researching math topics for fun.
NOTE: Bring a notebook and a calculator with a square root key.
