Take a “trip” on the Iditarod racing trail with our presenter. This presentation will focus the goals of his team prior to and during training for the race. The presentation includes a PowerPoint show with a discussion regarding the challenges on the trail and how the team managed those challenges to accomplish their goals.
Spencer Thew has been racing sled dogs for 27 years. Spencer has competed in numerous races, including the 1993 Iditarod sled dog race from Anchorage to Nome, Alaska. His “Call of the Wild” enterprise offers sled dog tours and excursions year round. Spencer was the founder and president of Atlantic Testing Laboratories Ltd. Currently he is the director of Construction Engineering at Clarkson.
