The course introduces the basic guiding principles of Eastern religions and philosophies, symbolisms, culture, festivals, rituals and the diversity in day-to-day practice. Rajiv Narula is an assistant professor of chemistry at SUNY Canton. He came to the North Country in fall 2005 and received his PhD in Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University in 2011.

Born and brought up in Calcutta, India, Rajiv Narula loves the North Country and its diverse seasons. He attends the UU Church in Canton and is a practicing Hindu.
