This course begins with a short history of women, focusing in particular on the evolution of their status in society, and ends with observations of their status today. Class members will be asked to share speculations on women’s future in global societies.
Ina Brockriede has given much thought and research time to the study of women’s history, especially the forces that shaped women’s status and perpetuate their position in societies.
