This trailhead is on the Old State Road; it leads to the Brookfield access roads in Hannawa Falls.  

Directions to the trailhead: From Potsdam, head south on Pierrepont Ave (Rt. 56). At the intersection of Rt. 56 and Rt. 72 stay on Rt. 56 for one mile. The Old State Road will be on the right just shortly after the entrance to Potsdam Town & Country Club (on the left). Turn right on Old State Road. From the other direction, go north on Rt. 56 into Hannawa Falls. After you cross the river the post office will be on your right. Go .8 miles and Old State Road will be on your left.

Once you are on Old State Road drive to the gated dirt road for the Brookfield Access roads. 

Parking: Park on the side of the road near the gate. Be careful not to block access to the gate.

TECH and OTHER EQUIPMENT: There is a new padlock on the gate.
