DESCRIPTION / DIRECTIONS: Carnegie is the red brick classroom building to the left of the Gunnison Chapel if you were standing in the main quad. Carnegie 10 is a small movie/performance theater and classroom in the basement of Carnegie Hall. After parking your car (see below) in lot "J" or "D" walk back towards town along Park St. Turn towards the center of campus at the walkway near Johnson Hall, or the walkway across from the SLU Bookstore, or at the walk just past Sykes Hall. Once on the central campus walk continue until you reach Carnegie Hall (the classroom building before your get to Gunnison Chapel and the main grassy quad. Once in the Carnegie, take the half-staircase (or elevator) to the basement. Room 10 is directly before you (across from the elevator) - enter either door.
PARKING: Park in the D lot or J lot. From downtown Canton: turn onto Park Street at the light (between the between the post office and the park) and drive past the SLU campus to the far side of the campus buildings.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Lot J will be closed (due to setting up a concert for tomorrow), so Lot D is your best option for pakring for "The Shock of the Great War" class on 04/17/15.
To "D" lot. Turn right (along the back side of the sports complex) into parking lot D (NOTE 1: the small lot facing Park St. is not part of Lot D; do not park there!) NOTE 2: you can park anywhere in lot D without a permit. You then will need to walk across Park St. NOTE 3: only use the crosswalks to get across Park St. to your SOAR classes.
To "J" lot. Turn left into the large parking lot just beyond the the science buildings on the left (and the sports complex on the right). Do NOT park in "FACULTY" or "GUEST" parking spots - these are ONLY for SLU issued parking passes...park in one of the open spots farther from the science building. From J Lot, walk up the sidewalk to Park Street.

RESTROOMS: (facing the entrances to the auditorium/theater): women's to the right; mens' to the left
TECH and OTHER EQUIPMENT: "smart" classroom; computer; VCR/DVD, projection.
