DESCRIPTION / DIRECTIONS: Room 334 is an Internet Teaching Lab (ITL), with a glass corridor wall, in the Cora and Bayard Clarkson Science Center at Clarkson University. It is located on the third floor of the building, near the end of the building facing Clarkson Avenue (SH 59). Turn onto Clarkson Ave . (by Kinney's Drugs). At the yellow blinking light at the top of a small hill, turn right, passing by the president's house (on the right). At the stop sign turn left, and drive by Woodstock Lodge (one of the oldest buildings on campus). The set-back grey cement building at the curve in the drive, is the Science Center. NOTE: There is an elevator at the center of the building. If you take that elevator to the third floor, turn right and walk back towards Clarkson Ave., you will find Room 334 on the left, almost at the end of the corridor (You can see the computers and the rest of the room through the glass wall in the corridor.)
PARKING: A Clarkson "visitor parking permit" will be issued with your registration confirmation. If you did not receive one, contact the SOAR office (267-2690). This pass can be used to park near the Science Center. Be sure to display the visitor parking pass on your dashboard. If you park in a handicap space, be sure and also hang your handicap pass on your review mirror as well. Park first in zones that aren't marked for a specific use. If you don't find a spot, park in "faculty." (If you run into any problems, address them to the presenter.) ENTRANCES: Enter at the middle of the long side of the building near the dumpsters! (there are several handicap spaces there); enter this service door and walk directly to the elevator in the short corridor. At either end of the building and take the stairs or elevator to the third floor. NOTE: There's a big lot at the far end of the building. It has a cement outside ramp that leads to a second floor entrance; take the elevator or stairs to the third floor and walk to the Clarkson Ave. end to find the room.
ACCESSIBILITY: There are handicap spaces in each lot (front - Clarkson Ave. end, on the long side, and at the large lot at the back of the building); the best handicap spots (there are several) are right in the middle of the long side (by the dumpsters)...this entrance is the closest one to the elevator.
RESTROOMS: Are between Room 334 and the elevator, but on the opposite side of the corridor.
TECH and OTHER EQUIPMENT: computer stations
FURNISHINGS: tables and chairs
ROOM CAPACITY: 30
