Fall 2011 Bus Trip to Syracuse Stage

ABOUT: Take a bus trip to the Syracuse Stage Theatre in Syracuse to attend the play "The Boys Next Door" by Tom Griffin "...a gentle comedy from the late 80's set in a group home for the developmentally disabled."  REVIEW EXCERPT: "Griffin's play hits squarely on the truth of life with its constant interplays and shadings of triumphs and tears." - New York Daily News.

This trip includes lunch at Applebee's in North Syracuse and dinner at Ramada Inn in Watertown on the way home.

WHEN: Wednesday, October 26, 2011 (sign up and send payment by: Monday, October 10)

TRIP COST: $97 (included: bus, orchestra seat play ticket, lunch and dinner) for member or guest

TRAVEL SCHEUDLE (all times are approximate): 

• 9:00am - POTSDAM Pick Up: Pine Street Arena parking lot. Turn off Hwy 11 onto Pine Street; drive past Agway and continue on about 1/2 mile. Pine Street Arena will be on your right. Park in the lot.
• 9:15am - CANTON Pick Up: Price Chopper parking lot. Corner of Hwy 11 and Hwy 310. (On the NE end of Canton.)
• 9:45am - GOUVERNEUR Pick Up: Main Street Municipal parking lot. Behind the store buildings.
• 12:00pm - Lunch at Applebee's in North Syracuse
  Entree Choices: 1) three-cheese chicken penne, 2) provolone stuffed meatball and fettuccine, 3) Caesar salad (no meat), 4) oriental chicken salad, 5) 7oz. sirloin steak w/mashed potatoes and mixed vegetable medley.
  Dessert: 1) chocolate mousse, 2) hot fudge sundae
• 2:00pm - Play Performance at Syracuse Stage Theatre
• 6:00pm - Dinner at Ramada Inn in Watertown
  Entree Choices: a)prime rib, b) stuffed baked boneless chicken breast (with brfeat stuffing), c) broiled haddock. (All entrees include: baked potato, chef's choice of vegetable, rolls w/butter). All dinners come with omemade soup of the day and a garden salad. Also included: coffee/decaf or tea, and cheesecake w/strawberries. (Cocktails are available, but are NOT included in the cost.)
• 7:30pm (approx.) - Leave for home
• 8:15pm GOUVERNEUR Drop Off
• 8:45pm CANTON Drop Off
• 9:00pm POTSDAM drop Off
