Spring 2011 Bus Tour to Fort Drum

DESCRIPTION: Enjoy a bus ride to Fort Drum where we will tour the base and then stop for a lite lunch at the Commons, an on-base eatery.  On the way home we visit the Otter Creek Winery in Philadelphia.

ITINERARY:

DEPART in the morning at/from:

• 9:00 Potsdam - Pine Street Arena parking lot (Turn off of Hwy 11 onto Pine Street; drive past Agway - Pine St. Arena is a little ways further on your right)
  
• 9:15 Canton - Price Chopper parking lot
• 9:45 Gouverneur - village parking lot (adjacent to Aubuchon's

ARRIVE at FT. DRUM (and pick up step-on guide): 10:30

TOUR FT. DRUM: 11:00-12:00

LUNCH: 12:00 at the Commons (on base) MENU for the "Soup and Salad Buffet": Soup du jour with homemade rolls or homemade chili and cornbread; tossed salad with selection of dressings and toppings; pasta salad and potato salad; cheese cake with choice of fruit topping

DEPART FT. DRUM: 1:30

ARRIVE OTTER CREEK WINERY (in Philadelphia): 2:00. Listen to a presentation / sip wine.

DEPART the WINERY:  3:00pm

RETURN HOME: (approx. at):

• 3:30 - Gouverneur drop off
• 4:00 - Canton drop off
• 4:30 - Potsdam drop off
