This course examines the role of children's museums as innovative learning environments that promote hands-on, interdisciplinary, and play-based approaches to education. Participants will explore STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) pedagogies as applied in informal learning settings, with a focus on how these methods foster creativity, inquiry, and problem-solving. The course will also trace the development of the North Country Children's Museum and its ongoing impact on children ages twelve and under throughout the region.
