The Kibbutz can be regarded as an implementation of Communism. It has existed in Israel since before the country attained its independence, and has played a pivotal role in its history and development. In this course, we will discuss the lessons one can learn from the Kibbutz and their attempt at Communism, based on the presenter's experience living in Kibbutzim (the plural of Kibbutz), first as a child and later as a young adult.
Daniel ben-Avraham is a Professor Physics at Clarkson University. Born in Argentina and raised in Israel, he has lived in Potsdam since 1987.
