Most of us can not resist watching kitten or Attenborough videos about animal behavior. This course will cover the major topics of animal behavior including: predator avoidance, foraging, reproduction, and social behavior. A general comparative approach among many animals species will be complimented by specific descriptions of the speaker's research.
Bill Romey is Emeritus Professor of Biology at SUNY Potsdam. Up until a couple of years ago, he taught courses in Animal Behavior, Entomology, and Freshwater Biology. His specific research interests include how and why animals group.
