Most of us can not resist watching kitten or Attenborough videos about animal behavior.  This course will cover the major topics of animal behavior including:  predator avoidance, foraging, reproduction, and social behavior.  A general comparative approach among many animals species will be complimented by specific descriptions of the speaker's research.

Bill Romey is Emeritus Professor of Biology at SUNY Potsdam.  Up until a couple of years ago, he taught courses in Animal Behavior, Entomology, and Freshwater Biology.  His specific research interests include how and why animals group.
