The oceans have already spared us the worst consequences of global warming. But why are we so reluctant to enhance its role? Similar to reforesting the land, we could "reforest" the oceans. Let's explore the possibilities, the benefits, and our hesitancy to use every option at our disposal, even the vast oceans.

Brad Baldwin is a freshwater and marine ecologist, and Professor of Biology at SLU, who tries mightily to push young college students to solve global environmental and food security issues. He's been at this for over four decades and while he's had some successes he wants to win over a few more people to safeguard the planet!
