This class will be a tour of the new St. Lawrence Nurseries property. Participants will get a closeup view of our orchards, nursery beds, beehives, newly renovated barn/event space, and more! We will cover topics like regenerative practices on farms, grafting fruit trees, composting, chickens, and other related topics. With any luck, there will be lots of fruit to pick and eat! We will be walking around the farm, so appropriate footwear is encouraged!
Connor and Allyssa Hardiman are the third non-familial generation who has stewarded SLN. Connor started working for the previous owner, Bill MacKentley, when he was a teenager and took over the business in 2015. Since then, Connor and Allyssa have expanded the business and moved it across town to its new location.
