The Adirondacks have long been a source of inspiration for American artists. Thomas Cole, Frederic Remington, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Rockwell Kent are just a few of the many artists who have created art inspired by living and working in the Adirondack Park. Join us as we explore the art of the Adirondacks then and now.

While Caroline Downing's area of speciality is Greek and Roman art, she has long had an interest in the art of the Adirondacks, and has published a book chapter on the topic.
