Fall is the perfect time of year to plan and prepare for planting your own simple native plant garden to attract our native pollinators, who are starving for a home and food in your yard. No matter how small a space you have for gardening, you will learn which plants to choose and how to plan, prepare, and maybe get started right away. You will leave the class with your own personal plan, a list of resources for plants, and a guide to the Village of Potsdam's native plantings to visit and enjoy.
Louise Jensen is a member of the Native Pollinator Plant Initiative and the Potsdam Joint Climate Smart Community Task Force.
